Marina Vela Barcelona and FNOB, with the collaboration of Helly Hansen and the support of the Barcelona City Council,
propose a series of talks/debates on nautical topics in general and in Barcelona in particular. These meetings, in a mixed virtual/in-person format, will take place in the area of Barcelona’s Nova Bocana, where both entities, among others, are located. The first event is next Wednesday, July 14, at 6 PM, and you can register now!
With the aim of promoting ocean sailing and, with it, nautical activities in general in our city, FNOB and Marina Vela Barcelona wish to propose a series of discussions, initially in digital format but with the goal of evolving into a mixed format, to address various topics affecting this sector, which is strategic for Barcelona.
The TALKS AT NOVA BOCANA aim to be an open forum that will accommodate all initiatives in a discussion format intended to encourage debate and dissemination in the field of nautical sports.
Onboard equipment. Beyond the Dress Code, topic of the first talk.
From ocean sailing to recreational sailing, equipment can vary drastically depending on the discipline, route, weather, season, or sea conditions. Knowing the technological innovations beyond the “Dress Code” will allow us to concentrate and enjoy both competition and the route much more, in addition to saving us problems and money.
The first event will be held on July 14 at 6:00 PM in a webinar format, aimed at the general public, who will be able to ask questions to the panelists, experts in each field.
