A few days ago, the new Nautical Bus was put into operation in Barcelona, an innovative initiative promoted by the Port of Barcelona and managed by the company Alta. This service efficiently connects the Drassanes pier with the Levante pier, providing a new sustainable and comfortable transportation option for residents and visitors to the city.

Service features
The Nautical Bus operates with two catamarans, the Ecocat Dos and the Ecocat Tres, which are 100% electric and zero emissions. These catamarans run on solar energy and electrical connection, underlining Barcelona's commitment to sustainability and the environment. This new ecological transportation option is ideal for those who want to enjoy the sea and move in an environmentally responsible way.
Schedules and frequency
The service will be operational for a minimum of 12 hours a day, with frequencies of between 15 and 30 minutes. The journey between the two stops will take approximately 10 minutes, offering a quick and convenient option for getting around the coast of Barcelona.
Rates and Subscriptions
The single ticket will cost €1,9, with the possibility of purchasing round-trip tickets, 10-trip passes, and passes for 2 and 30 days. In addition, discounts will be offered for children, young people and seniors, making this service an accessible option for everyone.

The Nautical Bus has two main stops: the Drassanes dock and the Levante dock. The new maritime station at the Levante dock, located in the recently rehabilitated old sheds, is equipped with catering services, providing a complete and comfortable experience for passengers.
