The Golden Cup is a high-altitude regatta with three editions behind it that was born from the collaboration between Nautical Diffusion, Skipper Yacht Club y Marina Vela Barcelona. 

For this fourth edition, which will be held on October 28th to 30th, Marina Badalona has been incorporated into the project, so, joining efforts with Marina Vela Barcelona, the regatta will have two venues to host the fleet and organize social events on land.

La Golden Cup It will consist of two tests, a long regatta and a short one. The team that achieves the best result, combining both tests, will win the IV Golden Cup. 

The first test, the Marina Badalona Trophy, will leave said port on the afternoon of Friday, October 28, and will consist of a coastal tour of about Milla 60 nautical.  Upon their return, the crews will be able to comment and celebrate their results at the dinner and subsequent party that will be held on Saturday night at Marina Badalona.

Departing on Sunday, October 30, the second test, the Marina Sailing Trophy Barcelona, will consist of a coastal circuit of Milla 20 departing in Badalona and arriving in front of the Vela hotel in Barcelona.  A tour completely integrated into the regatta course for the next edition of the Copa América. 

The regatta is scored for the Catalunya Height Championship, Solitaire and A2, as well as for High Altitude Regatta Circuit. Considering that this is the last test of the year, there will surely be great competition to get the last available points that will define the final positions in both circuits.

The event also has the collaboration of the Badalona Sailing Club and the sponsorship of Trasmed and the maritime security company Ausmar.
