One of the distractions during lockdown has been online shopping, often referred to as “virtually going shopping” and delving into technological innovations. Boredom and lockdown have significantly boosted visits to the numerous stores that have showcased their products in e-commerce. And naturally, after so much “browsing” through stores, you end up buying something.

One of the sectors that has seen the largest increase in sales is the technology sector, specifically gadgets. What seemed destined to be a disaster for many sectors has turned into a success for those who knew how to find a business opportunity online.
In the technology sector, new innovations and gadgets have continuously emerged, keeping users engaged who seek the latest, the most original, or something they have seen their neighbor already owns.
We will examine ten technological innovations that have caught my attention and which I believe can be useful gadgets for onboard use. Some of these are updated versions of gadgets mentioned in previous installments, and due to their success, they remain in the “top 10” recommended innovations.
TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS
Cat 62 PRO Smartphone

The Cat S62 PRO is the updated version of the CAT S61, which we previously dedicated an entire article to. And for this new model, we will also dedicate a full chapter, but for now, we include it in this selection because it is truly the best mobile phone we can take on board.
This device is water and dustproof, resistant to drops from 1.8 meters, vibration, sand, salt mist, and pressure.
The new FLIR HD camera captures thermal images and can operate in temperature ranges between -20ºC and 400ºC with a 57-degree horizontal field of view.
The CAT S62 Pro’s software, MyFLIR Pro, can superimpose the thermal image onto the real image thanks to the combination of captures between the FLIR and the main 12-megapixel Sony camera, offering a more precise view of which areas are at higher temperatures.
The screen, reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass 6, can be used with wet fingers and also with gloves.
The Cat S62 Pro offers several improvements that provide more thermal detail to help locate and diagnose moisture, leaks, hot spots, electrical shorts, blockages, or elevated temperatures.
